1. Go to Device Manager
2. Double click the WiFi card that you are using.
3. Click the Advanced Tab
4. Find "Multimedia and Gaming Environment" which is disabled by default.
5. Set it to "Enable"
6. Click OK - it will restart the WiFi card with new settings. Therefore, it will disconnect...and reconnect
7. Go to the video website that you usually go and click the video or online game that you are playing for testing.
See what? It will get faster.
Oh, by the way, I am using the ASUS USB N53 WiFi Card. If you are using the different brand card, please see if there are any settings like this to set up.
